Ryan Hauge, co-author of Strands of Truth, grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. In Wilmington, he attended Concord High School, where he graduated as Valedictorian and was recognized as a National AP Scholar. From there, Ryan was given a Distinguished Scholarship and admitted to the University of Delaware’s Honors Program as a Business Undeclared Major. Contrary to how it may seem thus far, Ryan does have a life outside of academics. One of Ryan’s favorite activities is to play backyard football with his friends. He plays wide receiver most of the time, and his specialty is catching the deep pass. Ryan’s other favorite activities include Ping-pong, jumping on a trampoline, and building with Lego. As far as Strands of Truth is concerned, Ryan has done everything dealing with graphics, such as all of the formatting for the book, the cover design for Strings of Fear, and designing the website. Rhonda Denny, Esq., co-author of the book, screenplay writer and producer of the movie, has 12 years of experience as a criminal prosecutor of school crimes. She has handled over 13,000 criminal cases involving juveniles in school. She received her JD from Duke University School of Law and her BA from University of MD at College Park. She is currently a member of the International Bullying Prevention Association. Since 1997 she has presented interactive bullying prevention assemblies and workshops to over 100,000 students, faculty, parents, school resource officers, faith-based groups, and community organizations across the country. Her hobbies include: traveling, oil painting, swimming, reading, yoga, horseback riding and writing. She has two sons (Drew and Ryan) and three cats (Rudolph, Razzmatazz and Rascal, the latter is the kitten in the movie). |
